Galloway Activity Centre

Adventure Holidays In ScotlandA firm favourite with those who like a thrill, the Galloway Activity Centre is located on the banks of Loch Ken just 20 miles (about 30 minute drive) from Coastal Kippford.

If water is your thing, you can go out on the loch to sail, kayak, windsurf or stand up paddle boarding.  Alternatively just let your inner child go wild on the Wobbly Waterpark!  Don a wetsuit and helmet and you’ll be more than equipped to tackle the only giant waterslide in the region (an impressive 50m), ginormous inflatables and the bouncy air pillow, all located on Loch Ken – but don’t be nervous; instructors are on hand to ensure you are all safe.

If land based activities are more your style, you can choose from mountain biking, laser tag or archery.  And for those with a great head for heights, try the climbing walls and zip wire fun.

The Galloway Activity Centre has no upper age limit on its activities, but offers advice on activities which may or may not be suitable for the youngsters in your party.  You pay per the number of sessions (activities) you take part in – the more you do, the better the deal.  It’s a great location for your adventure holidays in Scotland!
