Quiet Caravan Park in Dumfries and Galloway

I’m back for my third stint at Coastal Kippford and I could not be more thrilled! I’d forgotten how great it is! When we were searching from the U.S. to invest in a Holiday Park in Scotland, we could not believe our luck when we chanced upon Coastal Kippford. It’s head and shoulders above any other site we found. Coastal Kippford earns the term “park” - it’s gorgeous! The hillside setting provides lovely views, and more privacy for each caravan than the clear-cut-and-line-‘em-up sites we saw. The landscaping is mature, varied, and well-maintained. And, though we haven’t been to the park in December or January yet, every other month has something blooming here! We’re sited lower on the hill, our view is lovely because of the landscaping, and the night skies are dark, with unbelievable stars! We love the variety of birds, too (and the bird song!). We love the surrounding area; bucolic and beautiful. The Solway Firth is fascinating. We love the easy distance to Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Yorkshire. And we are grateful to all of the staff at Coastal Kippford for being so helpful and friendly, while also allowing us to maintain our sense of privacy. It’s perfect here! I’m so, so happy to be back!

We have been visiting Kippford and the surrounding area for over 30 years with our children and now grandchildren and of course our dogs. Having been owners on the Coastal Kippford site for almost 10 years we are now able to spend even more time there as we have recently both retired. The surroundings are beautiful and the park is kept to a very high standard. The layout is unique in the way it is over many levels and blends into its surroundings which adds very much to the attraction of choosing this site for a holiday or to own a holiday home here. The Staff are both friendly and efficient and willing to go out of their way to help whenever they are able. Coastal Kippford is certainly where we choose to be and would recommend it without hesitation.

“From the first tour of available caravans, through choosing my caravan and finally completing the paperwork, the whole process was flawless. The office staff, wardens and ground staff could not be more helpful and nothing is ever a bother. There is always a wave and a friendly smile and you very quickly feel like you are part of a community. The park is kept in pristine condition and the array of beautiful trees, bushes and flowers is a credit to all concerned. An exceptional place to relax and recharge your batteries. A little slice of heaven on earth if ever there was one! I would highly recommend it!"

We have been owners of a caravan at Coastal Kippford for almost 2 years and the best way to describe being here is it's like a home. The site is peaceful, relaxing, friendly whether it's other visitors and especially the staff. No matter what time of year, the site is always beautiful and well maintained. We have had static caravans on other sites over the years but none of them can compare, we are so grateful we found Coastal Kippford!
