I’m back for my third stint at Coastal Kippford and I could not be more thrilled! I’d forgotten how great it is! When we were searching from the U.S. to invest in a Holiday Park in Scotland, we could not believe our luck when we chanced upon Coastal Kippford. It’s head and shoulders above any other site we found. Coastal Kippford earns the term “park” - it’s gorgeous! The hillside setting provides lovely views, and more privacy for each caravan than the clear-cut-and-line-‘em-up sites we saw. The landscaping is mature, varied, and well-maintained. And, though we haven’t been to the park in December or January yet, every other month has something blooming here! We’re sited lower on the hill, our view is lovely because of the landscaping, and the night skies are dark, with unbelievable stars! We love the variety of birds, too (and the bird song!). We love the surrounding area; bucolic and beautiful. The Solway Firth is fascinating. We love the easy distance to Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Yorkshire. And we are grateful to all of the staff at Coastal Kippford for being so helpful and friendly, while also allowing us to maintain our sense of privacy. It’s perfect here! I’m so, so happy to be back!

We have been visiting Kippford and the surrounding area for over 30 years with our children and now grandchildren and of course our dogs. Having been owners on the Coastal Kippford site for almost 10 years we are now able to spend even more time there as we have recently both retired. The surroundings are beautiful and the park is kept to a very high standard. The layout is unique in the way it is over many levels and blends into its surroundings which adds very much to the attraction of choosing this site for a holiday or to own a holiday home here. The Staff are both friendly and efficient and willing to go out of their way to help whenever they are able. Coastal Kippford is certainly where we choose to be and would recommend it without hesitation.

“From the first tour of available caravans, through choosing my caravan and finally completing the paperwork, the whole process was flawless. The office staff, wardens and ground staff could not be more helpful and nothing is ever a bother. There is always a wave and a friendly smile and you very quickly feel like you are part of a community. The park is kept in pristine condition and the array of beautiful trees, bushes and flowers is a credit to all concerned. An exceptional place to relax and recharge your batteries. A little slice of heaven on earth if ever there was one! I would highly recommend it!"

“Stayed here for 2 weeks in a lodge. Absolutely gorgeous. The lodge was huge with dressing rooms to each bedroom, en-suite to main bed, a fantastically equipped kitchen and even a bbq and hot tub. Loads to do in and around Kippford – walking, golf, cycling, fishing and shopping. All in all a great park and staff couldn’t be more helpful. Can’t wait to book for next year.”

“We rented the Boston lodge for the weekend. The lodges are very well equipped and comfortable and are in a great situation. There is a lovely walk to Rockcliffe through the woods then we came back by the sea.”

“Our 2nd stay at Barnbarroch Lodge. Love the house and garden and great for our family of 8. Steam room in the downstairs bathroom is a great addition. 2nd bathroom upstairs has a shower over the bath and there are 4 good bedrooms – one with balcony. It’s well equipped – with washing machine, tumble dryer etc (laundry room). We used the bbq. There’s a small pond in the garden so had to watch the grandchildren closely. The garden is beautiful – really natural and mature and well equipped – with 2 tables and a good number of chairs. Great play area for the children just outside the lodge in the caravan park next door. All in all fab and we will return next year.”

“Booked a last minute break and what a perfect retreat to get away from it all. Beautiful countryside with coastal and forest walks. Site is very clean and could not fault the caravan (more like a lodge) (silver). Travelled with family and dog. The children loved the play areas on site with one play area for younger children and another with zip slides, basketball and football areas and swings for the older children. Hotels/pubs with good food in nearby Kippford with gardens and great views of the coastline. Will definitely return to the area and this site.”

Lovely park with very helpful staff. Having holidayed here lots over the years we then moved on to a seasonal pitch and have now recently bought a static caravan. Coastal Kippford was the park for our long term family holiday home. A lovely quiet setting with some amazing scenery nearby to explore. Coastal Kippford ticked all the boxes for us and we hope to enjoy many years of happy holidays here making lots of memories.

We have been owners of a caravan at Coastal Kippford for almost 2 years and the best way to describe being here is it's like a home. The site is peaceful, relaxing, friendly whether it's other visitors and especially the staff. No matter what time of year, the site is always beautiful and well maintained. We have had static caravans on other sites over the years but none of them can compare, we are so grateful we found Coastal Kippford!

The most beautiful caravan park. It really is a stunning site, and the autumnal colours at this time of year are incredible. The grounds are immaculate and it's a real haven for wildlife - we have seen red squirrels and a vast array of birds, and after dark you can hear Tawny owls. On a clear night, the stars are breathtaking. There are brilliant facilities on site including a laundrette and it's dog friendly too. Although it's a big park with lots of caravans and lodges, it never feels overly busy - it's really peaceful and the perfect place to relax. We have been coming here for the past 10 years and we absolutely love it.
