Coastal Kippford is a peaceful holiday park which allows our Owners and Guests to escape their busy lifestyles and relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings. Our facilities at Coastal Kippford offer the main facilities without the distractions of noisier parks. There are many reasons our park is their destination of choice.
Dogs are welcome on park and we encourage Owners and Guests to exercise their dogs on the many beautiful coastal and forest walks right on our doorstep. Whether you are looking to purchase or rent a holiday home your four legged friends are welcome.
We have a number of facilities on park including two children’s play areas, a fully equipped laundrette, and two heated and well maintained toilet/shower blocks available 24 hours a day.
The nearest shop (open all year and licenced) is 2 miles away at Colvend. It provides a good range of quality products, many from local producers. You will also find an array of shops in Dalbeattie, just 3 miles from the park.
The park itself is tranquil and offers lovely views over the Galloway hills. It is an ideal spot for wildlife lovers with our breeding red squirrel population and other fantastic wildlife that frequents the park.
Kippford is a beautiful seaside village only 15 minutes stroll from the park. It consists of a waterside street of pretty granite and whitewashed houses, a slipway for launching your boat, a gift shop, tea room and two lovely pubs both family and dog friendly.
There’s lots to see and do in the local area whatever your age or interest – walking, cycling, fishing, sailing, horse riding, golf, castles, gardens, crafts…
