*A 75% discount has been applied based on 2019-20 Rates of £661 and £916 respectively.
Our Holiday Home Insurance scheme provider is Arthur J Gallagher Insurance Brokers Limited. We chose Gallagher because their specialist team has over 300 years of combined experience and are adept at developing insurance packages to make sure you get comprehensive cover at a competitive price. Quotes are available from the park on request to which we add an arrangement fee. Details will be sent out prior to renewal, ie. before 1 July each year.
For the safety of our holiday home Owners and Guests we insist on annual gas safety checks for all holiday homes whether rented or for private use. Checks can be organised via Reception. The cost of a gas safety check is currently £54 inclusive of Vat.
Other variable costs
Lodges – Each lodge is served by a tank located on or adjacent to each plot. There is a small annual admin charge of £54 inclusive of Vat for billing and maintenance, and a quarterly standing charge of £16.55 inclusive of Vat for the rental of the tank (£66.20 per year). Gas is supplied by Calor at Cost.
Each holiday home has its own electricity meter. Readings are taken on date of entry and invoiced annually, around October each year. We ‘shop around’ to ensure competitive tariff rates. Please contact Reception for current tariff information.
