Dumfries is the major town of the region of Dumfries and Galloway.  It has its fair share of independent shops, mixed with a good selection of major high street names (on the high street unsurprisingly!) with others in Loreburne Shopping Centre, Barbours Department Store and some further afield at the Gretna Green Outlet Village.

But we’re not here to discuss the high street names, we’re here to give you the low down on the best independent shops you shouldn’t miss when you’re shopping in and around Kippford.
