At Coastal Kippford we work hard to give you what you need without turning the park into a noisy resort location. Our Owners and Guests choose our Park for peace and tranquility and the beautiful surroundings of Dumfries and Galloway.
The point of getting away from it all is exactly that… getting away. That doesn’t mean you don’t want the comforts of home. Our holiday homes are well-equipped with all the conveniences of home.
Facilities On Park
You won’t find noisy bars, discos open to all hours, or loud music ruining your precious moments. We have the main facilities you need without the distractions of the noisier parks. Our Warden is on duty 24/7 to maintain a safe environment and assist you with any questions or help you in the rare event of an emergency.
Child’s play
When we say fun for the entire family, we mean just that. Coastal Kippford features two children’s play areas, where your children can meet up with old friends, or make new ones.
- A younger children’s play area (for age to about 7)
- An assault course and covered play area for older children.
When you and your children have explored the play areas, there’s always the woodlands to discover and the biking and nature trails.
Four-Legged Friendly
For many people, pets are a member of the family and leaving them behind to go on holiday is not an option. At Coastal Kippford, your canine companions are welcome. We have fantastic coastal and forest walks right on our doorstep.
Many locations in Kippford and the local area are dog friendly, including some pubs, restaurants and gardens.
We do love cats but if brought they must be kept inside the holiday home due to our conservation concerns.
Other small pets which live in a cage, aquarium or similar may be permitted. Please contact us to discuss this option.
A Clean Scene
At Coastal Kippford, holidaying doesn’t mean “roughing it”. If you’re planning an extended stay, you’ll be pleased to know we have laundrette facilities open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your relaxation isn’t going to be spoiled by staring at that pile of dirty clothes in the corner of your lodge or caravan.
The generous opening times mean that you can wash your clothing as you need. So whether you decide to explore the park’s wooded areas, or spend a day at the beach, all that will remain are the memories, not the dirt.
Whether you’re here for a week or two or more, it’s always good to return home without two weeks of laundry to take care of.
Toilet & Shower Facilities
At Coastal Kippford we have toilet and shower facilities located in our nightly and seasonal touring areas. Dish washing facilities are also available in the laundry. All toilet and shower blocks are insulated, fully heated and very well maintained.
