We are delighted to announce we have retained our 4 Star Small Holiday Park Quality Assurance Award from Visit Scotland following a Grading Visit on 11 June 2018.
During 2017-18 we continued to build on the success of previous years and saw positive trends for both our rental fleet and holiday homes sales. The demand for our luxury lodges, both new and pre-owned, has continued to grow and as a result we developed new lodge pitches at the top of the Park over the winter months.
We continued to receive very positive feedback from guests via TripAdvisor, demonstrating the quality of our products and standard of facilities. In May this year the Park qualified for TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame due to earning a Certificate of Excellence every year for the past five years.
Over the last year we have improved our seasonal touring facilities through the refurbishment of a toilet block into showers with full temperature controllable shower units. We have increased the number of seasonal touring pitches on Park to meet demand from those who find the physical side of a touring caravan taking its toll and would prefer a base from which to explore for either a full year, part year or mini season.
Ian Tunaley, Quality & Tourism Advisor, said: “The Park itself continues to be extremely well maintained and it was great to see it on such a good day when there was plenty of colour evident. Since my last visit work has continued in improving some existing facilities and removing some older. I was really impressed with the new lodges. Coastal Kippford continues to provide guests with a very high standard of facilities, many with extensive views overlooking the local countryside.”
